Peter Lim

Peter Lim is Partner at Xora, where he supports companies from early stages of incubation to thinking through growth capital strategies. 

Prior to joining Xora, Peter was Investment Director at Temasek International where he focused on the climate tech and advanced computing sectors. Earlier in his career, Peter was Vice President Private Equity at GIC, where he supported the CIO across funds, direct, credit and infrastructure investments. 

Peter has spent many years in the public sector where he designed and led Singapore’s COVID economic relief ($60 billion), spearheaded the national budget ($75 billion annually), including tax reforms and spending priorities, and launched Singapore’s infrastructure debt program ($70 billion).  Peter was also Special Assistant to then Deputy Prime Minister, now President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam.     

Peter has been awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) and the COVID Resilience Medal.  He is a Stanford Sloan Fellow, a Lien Fellow and the Treasurer for Beyond Social Services.

Peter has a MSc Business Administration from Stanford, a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins, a LLM from University of London, as well as double BSc in Economics and Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
