Shan Joo Lim
Head, Finance
Shan Joo Lim is Head of Finance at Xora, where she leads finance operations and supports portfolio companies in building robust financial systems.
Before joining Xora, Shan managed finance, fund administration, and ESG initiatives at Heliconia Capital. There, she implemented new software and processes, developed in-house ESG capabilities, supported investor relations and guided early to growth-stage portfolio companies throughout the full fund life cycle.
With a decade at KPMG, Shan led audits for asset managers, private and sovereign wealth funds, and their portfolio companies across multiple jurisdictions. She also supported IPOs and M&A transactions and contributed to training and people management within the Financial Services Business Unit.
Shan’s career began in a family-run business, where she developed new products and introduced process automation to boost operational efficiency.
Her diverse experience drives her to collaborate closely with her team and portfolio companies to simplify finance operations and implement solutions that align with business goals.
Shan is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and holds a B.Acc. from Nanyang Technological University.
