Sofia Bensily is VP, Investments at Xora, where she focuses on deal scouting and diligence and serves as Board Observer at Aether Fuels and Neubird AI.
Prior to Xora, Sofia served as a Venture Architect at Bain & Company where she worked on corporate ventures in renewable energy, clean hydrogen, sustainable project financing and the circular economy.
Sofia was an Entrepreneur in Residence at HAX, and Co-Founder & CEO of AntePlastics, a startup developing novel plastic recycling technologies. She began her career in the EPC sector, where she has led multi-million-dollar commercial projects across Southeast Asia.
She holds a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Management from Imperial College London.
